James J. McAllister II

James J. McAllister II has been employed with SGL Carbon LLC, the North American division of SGL Group, The Carbon Company for two years. His position is a technical product/applications manager for High Temperature Applications. McAllister received Bachelor of Science degrees from the University of Pittsburgh in Chemistry and Biology. He received his Masters of Business Administrations from Purdue University in 2002. Prior to SGL, Jim worked four years at The Sinterite Furnace Division, a member of the Gasbarre Furnace Group, where he designed furnaces used in the Powder Metal Industry. He also worked eight years providing thermal designs for heat exchangers at Allegheny Bradford Company. McAllister is currently at SGL’s St. Marys, Pennsylvania facility.
